Accessibility Training Course

The Accessibility Training Course is designed to help you understand the importance of web accessibility and gain basic skills in assessing and improving the accessibility of web content.

Through interactive materials and practical examples, you will be introduced to key concepts of accessibility and will be given the tools and knowledge necessary to address common accessibility issues. You will also have the opportunity to utilise assistive technologies to experience at first hand the difficulties that users with disabilities encounter while navigating websites.

Outcomes of course

By the end of the course, attendees will:

  • Be aware of the importance and benefits of making web content accessible,
  • Have an overall understanding of accessibility requirements and guidelines,
  • Be able to identify and correct the most common accessibility issues,
  • Have the skills and resources to assess and improve the accessibility of their website.
